The Ancient Black Dragon is one of the most feared creatures in the D&D Monster Manual — a creature of patience, cruelty, and corroding acid that has outlasted kingdoms. This is pose 01 of Novaminis' Ancient Black Dragon range, sculpted in a wide-winged, forward-leaning stance that radiates territorial aggression. Both wings are fully spread and textured with taut membrane and prominent bone spurs; the dragon's weight is shifted forward onto its forelimbs, claws splayed wide against the ground. The spiked crest runs from skull to neck, the maw is open in a low, predatory challenge, and the tail curves behind with the unhurried confidence of something that knows it does not need to rush. Every scale, ridge, and talon has been sculpted with the kind of detail that rewards close painting and punishes anyone who thinks they can get away with a single wash.

Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. This mini arrives support-free and ready to prime; as with all high-detail resin printing, minor surface marks are possible and can be tidied with fine sandpaper or a craft knife before painting.
