Description

Somewhere beneath the rotting docks of a port town, a rusted anchor lies half-buried in the silt — and someone has chained something to it that doesn't want to stay down.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This anchor scatter piece brings immediate atmosphere to any coastal, harbour, or seafaring encounter. Sculpted with a satisfying sense of weight and age, the anchor leans at a natural angle on its sandy base, a heavy chain looped around the shank and piled at its foot. The texture across the metalwork and the links of the chain give painters rich surface detail to work into, while the sandy base grounds the piece in a specific environment rather than a generic dungeon floor.

Whether you're running a maritime campaign, a pirate cove ambush, or a seaside town encounter, this piece earns its place on the table. It works equally well as a dockside detail, an underwater ruin marker, or a focal point in a display diorama for collectors who want to build out a seafaring scene.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run coastal, harbour, or nautical campaigns and want environment-specific scatter terrain
  • Build immersive battle maps with terrain that tells a story
  • Enjoy painting detailed props and scatter pieces for dioramas or display
  • Want to add cover and atmosphere to port town or beach encounter maps

Encounter Hook:
The party has been told the smuggler's ledger is hidden somewhere in the old harbour — but when they arrive at low tide, they find a heavy chain leading from a rusted anchor into the dark water, still taut, as though something on the other end is pulling.

Details

What's included:
Supplied at 32mm scale. The piece comes attached to its sculpted sandy base as a single piece, ready for priming and painting. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks from the printing process may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up during prep and in no way affect the character of the finished piece.
