This is pose 02 of Galaad Miniatures' Amazon range, and it captures a moment of genuine connection between hunter and familiar. The figure stands tall in light leather armour — a wrapped bodice, layered skirt and greaves, sandalled feet — with a longbow held loosely at her side and a full quiver slung at her hip. Her free arm is raised overhead, a large owl mid-launch from her gauntleted fist, wings spread wide in extraordinary detail. Her expression is bright, confident — a ranger at home in the wilds, not fleeing danger but directing it.
The sculpt has real narrative depth. She reads equally well as a seasoned Outlander, a Gloom Stalker returning from a long patrol, or an archery-focused Horizon Walker. The owl familiar makes her a natural fit for the Beast Master ranger subclass — or simply a memorable NPC with strong ties to a druidic circle or woodland faction. For collectors, the dynamic vertical line created by the raised arm and soaring owl makes this a real display piece.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Play or DM rangers, scouts, hunters, or nature-aligned characters
- Want a characterful Beast Master ranger or familiar-bond NPC
- Need a faction representative for a woodland conclave or hunter's guild
- Are building a display collection of female warrior sculpts
- Want a miniature that works as both a gaming piece and a painted showpiece
Encounter Hook:
The party hears the owl before they see her — a single sharp cry from the canopy, then silence. She drops from the treeline ahead of them, bow in hand, her bird circling overhead in tight patterns. She tells them the road south is blocked — she's been watching a warband for three days — and she'll share what she knows, but only if they'll help her deal with what's at the end of that road.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and base are separate pieces, attached easily with superglue. The sculpted base complements the figure and we recommend using it, as the pose is designed with it in mind. Printed unpainted and ready for priming, painting, or immediate tabletop use.
