Alwin by Great Grimoire

He's seen more of the world than any child his age should have — and his eyes say he's not done looking.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Alwin is a young wanderer with a traveller's satchel slung across his chest, a sturdy walking staff gripped in one hand, and the kind of knowing half-smile that tells you this lad has already survived something. Dressed in a layered vest, rolled-cuff trousers, and well-worn boots, he looks every inch the resourceful village boy who slipped away from home the moment the adventurers rode through. Whether he's a scrappy urchin with a secret, a merchant's missing son, or the unlikely key to your campaign's central mystery, Alwin brings real warmth and narrative weight to the table.

For Dungeon Masters, child NPC miniatures are rarer than they should be — and a well-sculpted one like Alwin can anchor an entire story arc. Place him at the gates of a besieged town, have him press a cryptic note into the party's hands, or let him shadow the adventurers as an unwanted (and surprisingly useful) tag-along. He's equally at home as a display piece for collectors who appreciate character-driven sculpts from the common folk of the realm.

Suited to adventurers who:

• Need a memorable child NPC for village, town, or road encounters
• Are running a mystery, kidnapping, or coming-of-age story arc
• Want a rare, characterful sculpt that stands out from the usual warriors and monsters
• Collect narrative miniatures that tell a story at a glance
• Paint human figures and enjoy expressive, detailed faces

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to escort a grain shipment to the village of Millhaven — a routine job, until they find Alwin sitting alone on a milestone three miles from town, staff across his knees, watching the road east with a calm that doesn't fit his age. He won't say where he's going. He will say that the village isn't safe anymore, and that the miller knows why. He's been waiting here for two days for someone he could trust. He thinks, perhaps, that might be them.

Alwin is printed at 32mm scale and supplied unpainted, primed and ready for your brushwork. The sculpt is detailed enough to reward careful painting — particularly the face, the braided vest trim, and the satchel strap — but reads clearly even at tabletop distance. Printed to order here in our UK studio, with supports removed and a thorough quality check before dispatch. Minor surface marks from support removal are possible and easily tidied up before priming.
