Alistair Dreadwyck is the sort of figure your players will immediately distrust — and be unable to stop talking to. He stands in easy confidence, a filigree masquerade mask obscuring one eye, a silver goblet raised as if proposing a toast to your party's imminent downfall. In his other hand rests a tall walking cane, its head carved into a serpent, speaking of old money, older secrets, and the kind of power that never announces itself. His tailcoat is impeccably cut, his boots ornately detailed, and his smile says he already knows how this ends. Whether he's a vampire lord in a Gothic horror campaign, a manipulative crime baron in an urban intrigue arc, or a Ravenloft-adjacent figure of dark glamour, Alistair brings instant narrative gravity to any table.
The sculpt rewards careful painting — the lace cravat, the mask's decorative flourishes, the serpent cane pommel, and the articulated coat tails all hold fine detail with sharp clarity. Equally at home as a centrepiece of your display shelf or at the heart of a tense social encounter on the tabletop.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a charismatic villain or recurring antagonist NPC with real presence
- Are running Gothic horror, Ravenloft, or noble intrigue campaigns
- Want a Warlock patron, crime lord, or vampiric figure with memorable visual impact
- Collect characterful human NPCs for display or campaign use
Encounter Hook:
The party receives a wax-sealed invitation to a masquerade at Dreadwyck Manor — no names, no return address. When they arrive, every masked guest seems to know exactly who they are. Alistair himself crosses the ballroom floor towards them, goblet in hand, and says warmly: "I was beginning to think you wouldn't come. We have so very much to discuss." A DC 15 Insight check suggests he's lying. A second DC 15 Insight check suggests he wants them to know he's lying.
Alistair Dreadwyck is printed at 32mm scale. The decorative or plain black base comes separate and can be attached with a small amount of glue. If you'd like a different scale, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate. The miniature arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or to use as-is straight from the box.
