Description

She doesn't wait for the enemy to come to her — she calculates trajectory, accounts for wind resistance, and puts a bolt through the problem before it becomes one.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Alera Stormforge is a human artificer built for the thick of it. Armed with a hand crossbow levelled with practised precision and a sturdy round shield slung at her back, she carries the hallmarks of someone who has survived dangerous work through preparation and quick thinking. Her quilted armour, layered utility belt, and the battered tool-chest hanging at her hip speak to a character who solves problems — mechanically, ballistically, and occasionally by improvised explosion. Hair tied back, stance braced, arm fully extended: this is someone who has already done the maths and doesn't miss.

Across the three sculpts in this range, Alera is shown from different angles and with subtle pose variation — arm extended one-handed from the front, crossbow raised two-handed from a facing pose, and a rear-quarter view that lets you appreciate the detail of her shield's wood-grain texture and the chain and bell hanging from her belt. Each sculpt captures the same focused, grounded character from a distinct angle, making her a compelling centrepiece whether you're placing her on a battle map or a display shelf.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Are playing or running an Artificer — particularly Artillerist or Battle Smith builds
  • Want a female human character mini that reads as competent and combat-ready without being over-designed
  • Need a named NPC — a guild operative, a rival inventor, or a mercenary with a very precise kill count
  • Enjoy painting miniatures with strong surface detail: layered cloth, riveted leather, and wood grain all reward careful brushwork
  • Collect display-scale pieces alongside their tabletop collection

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a theft from the Artificers' Guild for three sessions. The trail leads to a rooftop in the merchant quarter — and standing there, crossbow already raised, is Alera Stormforge. She's been tracking the same thief. She got there first. The question is whether she'll let the party take the shot, or whether she has her own reasons for wanting this one alive.

Details

Alera Stormforge is available at 32mm scale for tabletop play or 54mm scale for display painting. She comes with a separate base that attaches cleanly with superglue. Each mini is printed to a high standard with supports removed; occasional minor marks from the printing process may be present and are easily tidied up with a hobby knife before priming.
