Description

From the frozen seas of Inuit legend comes the Akhlut — a predator that walks between worlds, equally at home on the ice and beneath the waves, and equally lethal in both.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Akhlut is one of those creatures that stops a table dead in its tracks. Part great white shark, part land-stalking beast, it defies every assumption players make about where the danger is coming from. This is pose 03 of our Akhlut range from Yasashii Kyojin Studios, and it captures the creature mid-lunge — jaws wide open, thick dorsal fin cutting upward, stubby clawed limbs scrambling for purchase as the full bulk of the beast bears down. It is a sculpt built for momentum, and it reads instantly across a battlemap as something that does not stop once it starts moving.

The three images show digital renders of all three Akhlut poses in this range — each depicted unpainted in grey, showing the crisp detail of the sculpt: the rows of serrated teeth, the smooth-yet-muscular shark body, the unsettling hybrid limbs that shouldn't belong and yet somehow make it worse. Pose 03 specifically features the creature's body angled in a powerful forward dive, jaws agape and claws extended. Whether you paint it in pale arctic colouring, deep ocean greys, or something more supernatural and eldritch, it will dominate the table.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run coastal, arctic, or underwater campaigns and want a truly threatening sea-predator encounter
  • Need a monstrosity that works equally well on land or in water — mechanically and visually
  • Want a display piece with genuine presence on a shelf or in a diorama
  • Are building a bestiary of unusual, folklore-inspired creatures beyond the standard monster manual fare

Encounter Hook:
The fishing village's boats have been coming back empty for a fortnight — or not coming back at all. The party tracks the disappearances to the ice shelf north of the harbour, where the snow is churned with wide, flat drag-marks leading into the sea. Then one of the marks leads the other way — and it is fresh.
