Air Myrmidon by DM Stash

Born where the wind forgets itself and becomes something older, the Air Myrmidon is not a creature of the sky — it is the sky, given armour and fury and sent to do someone else's bidding.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

In D&D 5e, Myrmidons are elemental beings bound into service by powerful conjurers and warlords, stripped of the raw chaos of their nature and disciplined into terrifying soldiers. The Air Myrmidon howls with restrained violence — a vortex of wind and sinew clad in jagged, rune-etched plate, twin blades trailing like the tails of a cyclone. This sculpt captures that contradiction beautifully: the swirling column of compressed air that forms its lower body contrasts with the heavily armoured, spike-shouldered torso above, great curved axes held wide in a posture that says the next gust will be the last thing you hear.

Every detail rewards a painter's attention — layered scale-like armour panels, deeply carved runic circles on the blades, ragged wind-streaks pulling at the body, and a feather-crested polearm arching overhead. On the tabletop it reads with immediate menace; on a display shelf it holds its own as a serious collector's piece.

Suited to adventurers who:

• Run planar campaigns, djinn courts, or elemental temple encounters in D&D 5e or Pathfinder
• Need a visually distinct boss-tier elemental to replace a generic token
• Paint layered NMM or OSL effects and want a genuinely complex miniature to work on
• Collect elemental and outsider miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The Archmage's binding circle holds — for now. Three concentric rings of silver salt, a contract inked in storm-cloud grey, and a name that hasn't been spoken aloud in two hundred years. Then one of the party shifts their foot, and a single line of salt breaks. The Air Myrmidon turns its hollow gaze toward them, axes rising, and the wind in the chamber begins to scream.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its decorative display base are separate pieces — the base has been sculpted to complement the swirling vortex of the model, so we recommend attaching them with a small drop of superglue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-supported resin prints, minor marks may occasionally be present; these are easily cleaned up before painting.
