Air mephits occupy an awkward place in the elemental hierarchy — too clever to be ignored, too spiteful to be trusted, and far too smug about both. This sculpt captures that energy precisely. The figure is gaunt and elongated, its emaciated torso trailing into swirling, tattered robes that billow as if caught in a permanent gust. A pair of large, jagged bat-like wings spread wide from its back, and its sharp-featured face — beaked, angular, and openly contemptuous — twists into a grin that suggests it knows something you don't. It grips a long, rod-like staff across its body in a self-assured, almost theatrical pose.
