Banshees occupy a singular place in the undead bestiary — not shambling husks nor calculating liches, but something rawer and more tragic: the echo of a life violently unresolved. Agatha embodies that archetype with genuine menace. Her arms are flung wide, her jaw thrown open in mid-wail, and the billowing folds of her ghostly gown spiral downward as though she is rising from the earth itself. The structured dark corset at her waist is the one sharp, material anchor to a former life — everything else has dissolved into the pale, drifting horror she has become.
The sculpt rewards careful painting. The layered fabric of her gown offers excellent opportunity for glazed greens and cold whites to create that translucent, spectral look, while her cadaverous face — pointed ears, hollow cheeks, burning eyes — benefits from strong contrast work on a relatively small surface. Whether you shade her in classic ghostly whites or lean into a sickly greenish pallor, Agatha reads powerfully from across the table.
A worthy addition to any undead encounter, and equally compelling as a centrepiece on the display shelf.

- Dungeon Masters running haunted manor, crypt, or Ravenloft-adjacent campaigns
- Players whose backstory includes a tragic elven spirit as an antagonist or reluctant ally
- Painters looking for an expressive, flowing sculpt with strong fabric and face detail
- Collectors building out a gallery-quality undead display
Encounter Hook
The party follows a string of mysterious deaths through the village of Whitevale — each victim found grey-faced and stone cold, with no mark on their body. Locals whisper of a woman's wail heard on the wind each night before a soul is taken. When the adventurers descend into the old Aldenmere crypt to investigate, they find Agatha drifting above a shattered sarcophagus bearing her own name — and she has already drawn breath for her next scream.
