Description

Nobody told the snail it couldn't study magic — and now, several centuries and one very tall hat later, nobody dares tell it anything at all.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This delightful Feywild eccentric is everything a Dungeon Master could want from a small, slow, and entirely unpredictable NPC. Perched on three stubby legs and hauling an enormous spiral shell, this snail wizard goes about its arcane business with the unhurried confidence of something that has simply outlived all its enemies. Its round spectacles are perched on extended eyestalks, a star-tipped wand clutched in one arm, a potion bottle hanging at its side, and a scattering of mushrooms decorating its shell like a woodland apothecary on the move.

The sculpt is packed with personality — every surface tells a story. The ridged shell has a beautifully textured spiral pattern, the scaled underbelly suggests something tougher than it looks, and the lopsided wizard's hat gives the whole ensemble an air of hard-won magical authority. Equally at home as a quirky Feywild guide, an ancient hedge-mage NPC, or even a wildly memorable Awakened Beast player character, this miniature rewards both the painter and the storyteller.

Brought to your table by adventurers who:

  • Want a truly distinctive NPC for Feywild or enchanted forest encounters
  • Are building a whimsical or folk-horror wilderness campaign
  • Love to paint miniatures with rich texture and eccentric character detail
  • Collect unusual creatures for display alongside their RPG library

Encounter Hook:
The party has been wandering the Feywild for three days when they spot a small figure moving purposefully through the undergrowth — a snail in a tall hat, muttering in Sylvan and consulting a scroll that seems to rewrite itself as they watch. It knows where the hag's tower is. It will share that information. There will, however, be conditions.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base (if the base option is selected) are supplied as separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue — the base is well worth adding, as many of La Louve 3D's sculpts interact with their bases in meaningful ways. Minor surface marks from the printing process are possible; these are easily tidied up before priming.

Mitz & Simz — the cats maintain concentration on their Nap spell regardless of what is happening around them.

Works beautifully alongside fey creatures for complete forest encounters — or explore more from La Louve.
