- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
Alia of Ardris is the Adept of Evocation from DM Stash's The Baldurian Inquisition setting — a wizard who wears her arcane rank as visibly as she wears her armour. The sculpt captures her in a composed, self-assured stance: layered tiered skirts fanning outward beneath belted robes, pauldrons etched with geometric knotwork, and a wide-brimmed witch's hat curling to a soft point at the crown. A satchel of spell components hangs at her hip, buckled tight and ready. Every fold of her layered garments has been given individual texture, and the rear of the sculpt is just as richly detailed as the front — cascading draped cloth with woven relief patterns that reward painters who take their time.
Mounted on an ornate chess-style pedestal base with repeating band motifs and a ribbed plinth, this piece sits equally well on a gaming table as a named NPC or on a display shelf as a showcase painting project. Whether you're running an intrigue-heavy city campaign or building a collection of arcane characters, Alia brings real presence to both.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Want a richly detailed wizard or evocation sorcerer miniature for D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
- Are looking for a compelling named NPC — a Baldurian inquisitor, court mage, or arcane investigator
- Enjoy display painting projects with layered fabrics, textured cloth, and intricate armour detailing
- Are building a collection of female spellcaster or magic-user miniatures
- Play or DM campaigns in urban, political, or inquisition-themed settings
Encounter Hook: The party has been summoned before the Inquisition to account for an unsanctioned use of magic within the city walls. Alia of Ardris receives them alone — calm, unhurried, her hands resting on the satchel at her hip. She already knows what they did. The question, she says with a slight smile, is whether they can be useful to her before she decides what to do about it.
