The Abyssal Chicken is one of the more unsettling corners of Abyssal bestiary lore — a creature that looks almost familiar until you notice the gaping maw lined with rows of curved, hooked teeth, the blade-like dorsal fin arching high above its bloated torso, and the heavily scaled, taloned feet that grip the ground like a predator coiled to lunge. This is pose 04 of our Abyssal Chicken range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it captures the creature mid-display — chest puffed, jaws spread wide, head tilted as if sizing up whoever dared enter its territory. The sculpt carries excellent surface texture throughout: segmented underbelly plates, layered scale work on the legs, and fine detail across the ridged crest that rewards careful painting.

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a missing warlock to an abandoned farmstead on the forest's edge. The summoning diagrams scratched into the barn floor suggest something was called — but the circle is broken, the warlock is gone, and whatever answered the call is still roosting in the hayloft, watching the door with too many teeth and absolute patience.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each piece is hand-checked before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming.
