The Aberrant Hellhound is no ordinary fiend. Where a standard hellhound carries infernal fire, this creature has been touched by something far older and stranger — the warping influence of the Far Realm or a rift torn open by a failed ritual. Three slavering heads snap and shriek from a single writhing body, each with its own terrible will, while a mass of coiling tentacles erupts from its back like a grotesque crown. The sculpt captures the creature mid-lunge across shattered stone, every claw and fang rendered with visceral detail. This is a creature that tells your players something has gone very, very wrong.
From a second angle, the full chaos of the form becomes clear — the hide is layered with corded muscle and aberrant growths, the limbs splayed in aggressive motion, and the tentacles arching high above the body give it an unmistakable silhouette on the tabletop. A third variant in the range leans into the tentacle mass even further, with the hound almost subsumed beneath a writhing knot of ringed appendages — closer to a gibbering horror than any recognisable beast. Whichever variant you choose, each is a statement piece equally at home in a glass cabinet or at the centre of a climactic encounter.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable boss encounter or elite enemy for a Far Realm or Underdark campaign
- Are building a cult of aberrant summoners with corrupted wardens at their command
- Want a large centrepiece creature for display collecting or a dedicated horror-themed shelf
- Play or run campaigns involving planar rifts, mind flayer colonies, or cosmic horror themes
Encounter Hook:
The warlock's pact was meant to summon a single imp for reconnaissance — but the ritual coordinates were off by one syllable. The party now stands in a collapsed cellar beneath the city's merchant quarter, torchlight catching the wet gleam of three sets of teeth, while somewhere above them the streets are still busy and utterly unaware. The creature has not yet decided which head to use first.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative rubble base are separate pieces and can be attached with superglue — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend keeping them together for the best presentation. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or display as raw resin for a ghostly, monochrome look.
