Rina is a kitsune warrior sculpted with the poise and discipline of a seasoned battlefield duelist. She stands in a wide combat stance, both hands gripping a naginata swept low and ready to rise — the long haft wrapped in cord, the curved blade angled with intent. Her armour is intricate and layered: segmented shoulder guards, a floral-embossed breastplate, lamellar waist and leg plates adorned with cherry blossom motifs, and traditional waraji sandals. A flowing mane of hair cascades behind her fox ears, and the serene painted mask she wears makes her all the more unsettling to face in combat. Every surface rewards close inspection — this sculpt has been crafted with a collector's eye as much as a gamer's.
Whether she's a wandering ronin, a celestial guardian bound by an ancient oath, or a trickster spirit who has taken mortal form to reclaim a stolen honour, Rina brings instant narrative weight to any table. She works equally well as a player character for a Fighter, Monk, or Ranger and as a formidable NPC standing in the way of the party's ambitions. At 54mm display scale, she's a centrepiece worth painting with every technique you've been saving for the right mini.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Play or DM with kitsune, fox-folk, or Tabaxi-adjacent characters
- Want a Fighter or Monk PC miniature with genuine Eastern-inspired armour detail
- Are building a campaign set in a feudal or spirit-realm inspired world
- Collect display-scale miniatures and want a sculpt that justifies serious brush time
- Need a compelling NPC — a guardian spirit, a hired blade, or a mysterious rival
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen artefact from a mountain shrine — but when they arrive, they find Rina already there, kneeling before the altar with the artefact at her feet and three dead thieves behind her. She doesn't explain herself. She simply asks, very quietly, whether they intend to cause more trouble than the last group did.
Details
Rina is available at 32mm tabletop scale (with or without an unattached plain black base) and 54mm display scale. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin prints, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming.
