Aarakocra Wizard - Aira by DnD is a Woman

She has read every tome in the great library, memorised the star-charts of three continents, and still the answers she seeks lie somewhere beyond the horizon — staff raised, spellbook open, wings folded close, and eyes that miss nothing.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Aira is a sculpt that rewards a second look. From the front, she reads as a composed scholarly figure — flowing robes cinched at the waist, a heavy tome held open in one talon-fingered hand, and a tall crystal-tipped staff thrust skyward in the other. Look closer and the detail deepens: layered feathers crowd her shoulders and back, each individually textured; a medallion brooch fastens her cloak at the chest; and her owl-like face carries the patient, slightly unsettling calm of someone who has already calculated the outcome of this encounter. She is equally compelling at 32mm on a battle grid and at 54mm display scale on a shelf.

Whether you play her as an Aarakocra Wizard, an Owlin scholar, a feathered sage NPC, or a bird-folk lore-keeper with secrets your party hasn't earned yet, Aira brings that rare quality to the table: presence. Dungeon Masters will find her just as useful as players — she reads immediately as someone important, someone knowledgeable, and someone you probably shouldn't have insulted.

Sought out by adventurers who:

• Want a bird-folk or Owlin Wizard player character with real character
• Need a memorable sage, arcane mentor, or mysterious quest-giver NPC
• Are building a magical academy, astral observatory, or feathered faction for their campaign
• Enjoy a serious painting challenge with layered feather texture, fabric folds, and fine detail
• Collect display-scale miniatures as centrepieces in their own right

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the tower of the renowned Aarakocra arcanist Aira seeking a rare spell component she is rumoured to possess. They find her mid-ritual, staff blazing with crystalline light and spellbook suspended in the air before her — and she does not look up when they enter. "You're twelve minutes late," she says, turning a page with one talon. "The wards have already been recalibrated. Sit down — or don't. I have already foreseen both outcomes."

Available at 32mm tabletop scale (with or without a plain black base, supplied unattached) and 54mm display scale. Bases are easily attached with superglue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks are possible and straightforward to clean up. Each piece is fully cured and ready for priming and painting — or looks characterful straight out of the box.
