Description

They heard the thunder of hooves before they saw them — two horses, wild-eyed and untamed, bursting from the treeline with manes whipping like banners in a storm.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This set captures the raw, kinetic energy of horses mid-gallop, sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM with an eye for muscular anatomy and flowing movement. The larger mare rears dramatically on her hind legs, mane and tail streaming behind her, mounted on a richly detailed base of grasses and low-growing flora. The foal beside her mirrors that energy in a smaller frame — legs extended, head raised, every bit as spirited. These are not static animal tokens; they are scene-setters, the kind of miniatures that make a table stop and take notice.

Whether you need a wild herd encounter on the plains of a forgotten kingdom, a sacred beast that the local village worships and the party has accidentally frightened, or simply a pair of beautifully crafted animal miniatures for your display shelf, these two sculpts earn their place. Equally suited to gaming and collecting, they bring a grounded naturalism that is rare in fantasy miniature ranges.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need animal companions, wildlife encounters, or wandering beast tokens on the tabletop
  • Are running campaigns in open plains, frontier settlements, or fey wildlands
  • Want a display piece that captures movement and life rather than a static pose
  • Are building out a naturalistic bestiary for their Dungeon Master collection

Encounter Hook:
The party is three days from the nearest town when they spot a riderless war horse — branded with the crest of a fallen noble house — thundering across the hillside with a foal close behind. Someone has freed the lord's stables. Or something has driven every living creature from the estate in a panic.

Details

This listing includes two miniatures: a large rearing mare and a smaller galloping foal, both at 32mm scale. The mare is mounted on a scenic base with grasses and crystals as a single piece. The foal comes on a matching base that can be attached with a small amount of glue. Both arrive unprimed and ready for painting, or can be used straight away as-is. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from the printing process are possible — these are easily tidied up before painting.

The cats have made a Charisma saving throw against being moved off the desk. Both succeeded.
