Description
Tucked behind a stack of crates in the merchant's warehouse, the barrel sits innocuously — until someone rolls Perception and realises it's been moved since last night.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
Scatter terrain is the difference between a grid of squares and a scene your players actually remember. This wooden barrel, with its carved plank texture and iron banding, adds that layer of lived-in detail that makes a tavern feel like a tavern, a dockside alley feel genuinely dangerous, and a dungeon storeroom feel like someone was there before the party arrived.
Compact and versatile, it works equally well clustered with other props for a busy marketplace or placed alone as a point of cover in a tight corridor. Whether you're dressing a battle map or building a display diorama, this is the kind of piece that earns its place on the table every session.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want to bring tavern, warehouse, or dockside encounters to life
- Need reliable scatter terrain for dungeon rooms and wilderness camps
- Are building diorama or display scenes with a fantasy setting
- Like painting small props as part of a larger basing or scenery project
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the stolen shipment to a riverside warehouse — but when they arrive, every barrel has been deliberately rearranged to create a maze of cover. Someone is waiting in the dark between them, and they rolled higher on Stealth than the ranger did on Perception.
