Purrrfect Kitties

Hello again!

What do our cats have to do with 3D printing models for Dungeons & Dragons? Nothing except that they are the purrfect help!

I wanted to take this opportunity as we ramp up to the holiday best suited to Mitz and Simz to talk a little bit about our lovely furry ladies. 

So yes, if it wasn't clear yet, indeed, Mitz and Simz are our two black cats and they are the inspiration for our branding and logos and really what we are about. 

But actually, Mitz and Simz are just nicknames for them. They are actually called Mittens and Simba and they came into our home in June of 2020 and they've brought us nothing but joy and happiness since then. We got them from a Cat Sanctuary near us here in SE Kent. 

We are not sure of their backstory other than they have been together all their lives (so they come as a pair) and that they were given to the rescue shelter in the winter and we were fortunate enough to adopt them.. Actually, it was really Simz that picked us out. While walking around the well managed sanctuary, we saw this regal queen sitting in a cat bed high above the rest of the felines with this look of general disdain (who we would find out soon was Mitz) and a princess circling around our legs being very chatty (who we would find out soon was Simz).

It was love at first meow so we went through the process and adopted them and its been bliss ever since.

They are not sisters as it turns out but they were born 1-2 weeks of each other so they are practically soul sisters.

They get along well and have such different personalities. There is the occasional head bash from time to time they give each as cats do, but its all for play.

Simz is indeed the Princess and a total tart - she is curious and affectionate with all strangers. But cuddles have to be on her terms She is always active and has persistent FOMO - whenever something is happening, she has to be there. 

Mitz on the other hand is more reserved and cautious with strangers (she is totally all about stranger danger) but with us, it is always cuddle time and she is by far much more relaxed and lazy - she'll happily sleep the day away. 

But they are the purrfect pair and we are very happy they are part of our family. And they will not let us forget it!

So what do they have to do with our business? Well, everything! When we started to think of how to create our identity, we wanted to differentiate ourselves from other stores. But we wanted to do something different from the obvious kind of D&D related theme. So then we thought that our kitties would be the perfect mascot. And that is how MItz and Simz was born.

 But we love all sort of creature familiars. So please be kind and caring and give your loved ones a wonderful BOOP on the nose.
