Description

It doesn't come through the door — it comes through the floor, three clawed arms spreading wide as its crown of razor teeth yawns open with a sound like grinding stone.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Xorn is one of D&D's most distinctive elemental threats: a barrel-bodied creature from the Elemental Plane of Earth that perceives the world through tremorsense and a singular hunger for metal and precious stones. This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures the creature's alien geometry beautifully — three arms ending in hooked claws, three powerful legs, a single amber eye set into the chest, and that iconic crown of pale serrated teeth splitting open across the top of the body. Every surface is covered in chunky, cobblestone-like hide, giving painters an enormous amount of texture to work with in washes and drybrushing.

Whether you're deploying it as a wandering threat in a subterranean dungeon, a summoned guardian protecting a vault of gems, or a territorial menace the party has disturbed by accident, this miniature has the presence to hold its own on the table. It's equally at home on a display shelf alongside other Underdark denizens, where that single eye and gaping maw make it an instant conversation piece.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark campaigns and want genuinely distinctive monster encounters
  • Need a mid-tier elemental threat that players won't immediately recognise as a pushover
  • Love painting heavily textured creature miniatures with lots of surface detail
  • Collect D&D monsters for display as well as play

Encounter Hook:
The party's dwarf fighter notices it first — every gold coin in his pouch is gone, the leather purse intact but somehow empty. Then the floor cracks. Then the floor opens.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces, easily attached with super glue. Some models interact with their decorative base, so we recommend using it for the best look. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor marks are occasionally possible and can be tidied up before priming.

Every sculpt we stock is one we'd want on our own table. The cats agree, in their way.
