This is pose 02 of our Slaad Tadpole range, sculpted by Novaminis. Where the first pose strikes a more low and lurking silhouette, this variant rears upward in a bold S-curve, its spined and fang-ringed head angled forward as though already tracking the warmth of a host. The sinuous tail tapers to a hooked barb below, giving the whole form a coiled-spring tension that reads brilliantly on the tabletop. Every ridge, socket, and row of recurved teeth is faithfully captured in the sculpt — this is a creature that looks like it belongs in the Far Realm or the churning chaos of Limbo.
Whether you're running a body-horror subplot where NPCs begin changing after a slaad encounter, or populating a tadpole-infested chamber in an aboleth's lair, this mini brings that visceral larval dread to life. Encounter Hook:
The cleric casts Detect Disease on the merchant and the reading comes back wrong — not ill, exactly, but occupied. Somewhere beneath the ribs, something with teeth is growing. The party has three days to find a slaad and harvest the control gem before the transformation is irreversible.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming.
