Plague Spreader by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
It came from the edge of the dying village — tall, skeletal, and trailing something that had once been flesh.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Plague Spreader is a vision of contagion made monstrous. This towering aberrant figure stands on spindly, elongated limbs, its emaciated frame draped in ribbons of decaying matter. Skulls and corrupted tissue cluster around its hunched upper body, and long tendrils of necrotic material hang from its limbs like the remnants of something it hasn't quite finished consuming. The sculpt captures the creature mid-shamble — unhurried, inevitable, and deeply unsettling.
For Dungeon Masters running plague-struck campaigns, undead horrors, or body-horror-adjacent encounters, this miniature brings a genuinely disturbing physical presence to the table. The level of surface detail — from the exposed ribs and fused skeletal mass to the dripping tendrils pooling at the base — rewards careful painting and reads clearly even unpainted. It works equally well as a battlefield encounter piece or as a centrepiece on a display shelf dedicated to the grotesque.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Run undead or plague-themed campaigns and need a centrepiece threat
- Want a large, distinctive monster mini that stands out on the board
- Enjoy painting intricate horror-themed sculpts with rich surface texture
- Are building a display collection of aberrant or necrotic creatures
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a quarantined hamlet where the dead have been walking — but when they arrive, they find the locals weren't fleeing the undead. They were fleeing the thing that was making them. The Plague Spreader emerges from the granary at dusk, skulls fused to its torso still wearing expressions of recognition.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model with the detailed base comes as a single piece. The model with the plain base is supplied with the base detached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible and can be tidied up before priming — each piece is fully cured and support marks, where present, are straightforward to address.
