The Hydra Sphinx is a creature of imperial menace: broad wings spread wide as a war banner, taloned forefeet braced on an ornate stone plinth, and a raptor's head fixed in the precise angle of something that has already decided whether you are prey. Every feather is individually sculpted — the layered primaries fan out with genuine weight and motion, while the leonine haunches below speak to a predator built for endurance as much as speed. A decorative harness crosses the chest, hinting at a history of being bound to a master's will — or perhaps the remnants of one that tried. This is pose 01 of the Hydra Sphinx range.
Printed at display scale with an 80mm base, this is a centrepiece built to anchor an encounter, a collection, or a painting competition entry. The sculpt rewards detail work — feather barbs, fur texture, and the carved stonework of the base all offer surfaces that respond beautifully to layered painting techniques. Equally striking left in bare grey for a quick-deploy boss fight.

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the summit of the Aerie of Dawnbreak to find the oracle already dead — pinned beneath one enormous talon, the sphinx's head tilted, studying the heroes with the patience of something that has waited a hundred years and can wait a hundred more. It does not attack. Not yet. It is listening for the right answer to a question it hasn't asked aloud.
This model is printed at display scale — the base measures 80mm, sized by the artist to function as a boss-tier creature. If you'd like a different scale, drop us a message and we'll see what we can do. The base is included detached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue. Support marks are removed during post-processing; minor surface imperfections are possible and easily cleaned up before priming.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
