This is pose 07 of our Centaur range by Galaad Miniatures, and it's a sculpt that radiates controlled aggression. The female centaur is caught mid-rear, her front hooves lifted from a rocky base, both arms extended with curved blades in each hand. She wears layered scale armour across her midriff, cord-wrapped bracers, and a decorative saddlecloth adorned with a carved emblem across her haunches. Her expression is fierce and focused — teeth set, eyes locked forward. Small curved horns emerge from her crown, giving her a fiendish or fey edge that makes her equally at home in a Feywild warband or a tiefling-touched plains tribe. The rear-rearing pose gives the sculpt real height and dynamism on the tabletop.
Whether you're running her as a Feywild raider captain, a vengeful plains guardian, or a monstrous NPC blocking a mountain pass, this sculpt brings genuine character to the encounter. She's equally compelling as a display piece — the kind of miniature that earns its own shelf space.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding centaur NPC or enemy for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
- Are building Feywild, plains, or wildland-themed encounter scenes
- Want a dual-wielding warrior sculpt that works for gaming and display collecting
- Are painting projects with strong silhouettes and expressive faces
Encounter Hook:
The border crossing into the Thornwood has been held by the same centaur for seven years — a horned dual-blade warrior the locals call the Iron Mare. She doesn't ask for tolls. She asks for oaths. The party's patron swore one, three years ago, and never told them what it cost him.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its decorative base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of superglue — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend keeping them together for the best result. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up. The model arrives fully cured and ready for priming, painting, or immediate use as-is.
