Quick Update - US Orders

Just a quick update to briefly comment on the US Order situation.

The tariff situation has changed. Here is some official text:

Effective August 29, 2025, there will no longer be a de minimis exemption for goods entering the United States, which means more items shipped to the US may now be subject to tariffs.

What does this mean? Well, it means that lower cost items such as minis will now be subject to tariffs and therefore be expensive. A lot more expensive.

Couriers are also scrambling now to make the necessary changes to how they process orders and customs paperwork.

As such, until further notice, we have suspended our Shop (and Etsy) from processing orders from the US.

We do this with a heavy heart as we had many lovely customers from the US but we could not in good conscience have customers pay much higher prices for our items.

And the general community is doing the same. So our recommendation to buyers is to always check the detail and final price on items to ensure that all taxes and charges are applied. So if you suddenly get sticker shock on other orders elsewhere that have not made this change, this would be why. So keep a look out. And worse, if they have not made the necessary change, you may be surprised when the item is close to delivery you may have a high unexpected fee to pay.

Anyway - we hope things will stabilise and we can resume taking US orders.
