Artist Focus - MZ4250

Hello and welcome!

We want to spend some time to highlight each of our artists in their own blog post and we'll start with one of the first three artists that we started to support when we began this adventure.

And so the first artist we are showcasing is MZ4250. Check out his page here - MZ4250.

To me, I think there is no more prolific D&D mini modeller than MZ4250. If you are looking for something specific or obscure, these are the models to check out. He does amazing work for the Dungeons & Dragons and general Tabletop community and is super active. He s regularly creating models, often times working on crafting Patron requests, but primarily going through various source materials and creating sculpts based on them.

He makes his models freely available (check out the link) and there is a huge volume of minis beyond just those that we have listed on the site. Because of the IP for specific source material, and because the models are true to their description, those specific models we cannot list commercially, but, we are happy to print them as a printing service (you can check out our custom printing listing in the shop or reach out to us for details.

Just to again comment on his tremendous library, because he has gone through almost all of the source materials and campaign books, he has models to satisfy nearly all the campaigns (not available on the site but can be printed as a custom print job as mentioned above so check out his library and reach out to us). 

So to us, the huge library of models was appealing, but to be honest, so was the actual artwork design - they look great! Models are released nearly daily (from our shop perspective, we tend to bulk add them at the start of each month). And even with such fast turnaround time, the quality on each model is just as good as the next one.

The models really are true to form and capture the essence of the models as represented in the different source materials. They also scale quite well, so if you have specific scaling needs, please reach out to us and let's see what we can work out.

And if you are looking for Player Characters or NPC's, there are a huge variety of items - both classic and obscure - so if you are looking for something quite specific, please check them out - you may be surprised that it already exists!

At first glance, the artist renderings of the models may make the minis seem simple, but don't let that deceive you. They are actually quite detailed, even if not as detailed as some of the other artist. But because of this, they are also easier to paint and look just as amazing painted as any other model. 

We are quite proud to support him in his endeavour as he does such great work for the community.
