This is pose 01 of our Skeleton Pikeman range by Novaminis, and it brings a rare sense of personality to what could so easily be a forgettable undead grunt. One skeletal hand raises to the skull in a gesture that reads as part salute, part menace — as though this warrior still remembers the drills it was put through in life. The other hand grips a massive, wickedly-bladed great axe, its haft angled low and ready. Tattered cloth hangs from its frame, a studded belt cinches what's left of its waist, and a heavy shackle and chain clank from one ankle — hinting at a history of captivity, servitude, or worse.

The sculpt captures the kind of character detail that makes Novaminis stand apart: exposed ribcage, articulated skeletal hands, mismatched armoured and bare feet, and a one-eyed skull face that seems to be grinning at something only the dead can see. Encounter Hook:
The party discovers the lower levels of the fortress are not empty — a skeletal pikeman stands post at the far end of a collapsed corridor, one ankle chained to the wall, great axe resting on its shoulder. It doesn't move. Not yet. But when the cleric raises her holy symbol, the chain snaps taut and the skull turns — slowly, deliberately — directly towards her.

This miniature is scaled to 32mm and is supplied unpainted and ready for priming. A plain black base is available as an option and comes unattached — a small amount of glue will fix it securely. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks are possible and easily tidied up. The mini arrives fully cured and ready for your painting table or display shelf.
