This is the Flame Salamander 02, the second sculpt in Yasashii Kyojin Studio's Flame Salamander range. Where pose 01 offers one angle on this fearsome elemental predator, this variant captures a moment of explosive, upward-lunging aggression — arms thrust skyward, trident aimed at the heavens, the lower body a coiling mass of scales and tattered flame. The beast-skulled face snarls from beneath a mane of wild energy, and every detail — from the segmented underbelly to the ragged, fire-edged cloak — speaks to a creature that belongs to a plane of raw elemental fury. At 82mm tall, this is a substantial, imposing piece that commands the table.
In D&D 5e terms, Flame Salamanders fit naturally as Elemental creatures tied to the Elemental Plane of Fire — dangerous hunters, bound servants of efreet nobles, or ancient free-willed predators terrorising the Underdark's volcanic reaches. This sculpt would serve equally well as a Boss Monster centrepiece or a striking display piece on any collector's shelf.

Encounter Hook:
The party has descended into the magma tunnels beneath the Cinderpeak Caldera to retrieve a stolen phylactery — only to find the salamander that swallowed it is already awake, already angry, and already rising from the lava pool directly beneath their feet. The trident catches the firelight as it descends.
Printed at 82mm tall (approximately 32mm scale equivalent for a Large creature). Available with or without a plain black display base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each piece is quality-checked before dispatch; minor support marks are possible but easily cleaned up.
