Description
The floorboards don't creak — they splinter — as something massive and low to the ground rounds the corner, claws outstretched and jaws already open.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Bugbears are not merely big goblins. They are apex predators of the goblinoid hierarchy — patient, savage, and wickedly clever when it suits them. This sculpt captures that brutish forward momentum perfectly: the creature is hunched into a charging crouch, one clawed hand gripping a short blade while the other reaches forward like it's already got you by the throat. Spiked pauldrons sit across its broad shoulders, heavy chains hang across its chest, and its wide-open maw and wild mane of hair give it the look of something that hasn't decided whether to fight you or eat you — and doesn't much care which.
Details
At 31mm tall, this is a weighty presence on any battlemat. The sculpt holds up beautifully whether you're dropping it into a forest ambush, fielding it as a goblinoid enforcer, or using it as a centrepiece for a painted display. The detail across the fur, the scaled wrappings around the legs, and the texture on the spiked armour all reward a careful brush.
A great fit for adventurers who:
- Need a threatening front-line brute for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
- Are building a goblinoid warband with a proper heavy-hitter at its head
- Want a dynamic, aggressive sculpt with real painting potential
- Collect monsters for display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a hobgoblin raiding party for two days — but when the ambush finally comes, it's not hobgoblins that drop from the trees. Two bugbears hit the flanks in silence, chains rattling only as the first blades fall, and the warband's true muscle makes itself known.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-printed pieces, minor marks are occasionally possible and can be tidied up before painting.
