Artist Focus - Spicy Arts Artist Focus - Spicy Arts

Hello and welcome!

This Artist Focus post takes a look at something totally different in terms of models that adds something little Spicy to our library with Spicy Arts! Check out their page here - Spicy Arts.

This artist focuses on classy and tasteful Pin-Up models. So it is a quite stark detraction from the rest of the artists we support (and models we carry in our library).

So why do we support them? Well, truth be told, this is a side-project of one of our other favourite (and original) artists we already support. And we love their main body of work so much that we feel happy to support their side project as well.

Furthermore, as noted above, this artist does the models in a tasteful and classy way - so classic pin-ups that are not overly sexualised or degrading. We strive here to ensure that the models in our library do not cross that line. And the artwork done by the artist is nicely done (much like many of the classic artists of old age that you can find in museums) because after all, the human form (or more aptly put, humanoid form - we are talking Fantasy at the end of the day) is not something to shy away from.

These models by default are more on the display side (scaled to 54mm) but we can scale them to be more tabletop size - just get in touch with us. Could they fit into a Dungeons & Dragons homebrew story? Of course - why not.

The releases are less regular that once a month (as the artist focuses majority of their attention on their main body of work) but whenever they drop, we add them quite quickly. And the models are in separate section (Pin-Up and NSFW) and they do not show up within the main library when looking for regular minis. And I've not posted the NSFW images but you can see them on the artist's link in order to help make a decision.

But we wanted to support this artist as they do amazing work with their main line and also it is good to add a little something different to our library and help Spice things up. So be sure to check out their work and get in touch if you have questions.

Happy gaming and painting!
