Artist Focus - Galaad Miniatures Artist Focus - Galaad Miniatures

Hello and welcome!

This Artist Focus post takes a look at one of the newest artists we support also exclusive to the web site but one we've been eyeing since the beginning of our journey which is Galaad Miniatures! Check out their page here - Galaad Miniatures.

When we first started this 3D mini printing adventure and we first started to explore artists, Galaad Miniatures was in our sites. We loved their work from the beginning but in those early days we were not ready to bring them on. But, now that we feel we are more established, we have gone back because we've still been enjoying their themed designs each month so now we can start adding them to our library.

So what is it about them that we find appealing? Well, they are a small independent studio and each months themed release comes with distinct style of models where each one has separate details and therefore each one looks like a distinct model. Basically, they fit our ethos and overall mission statement.

The models all have lovely details (again, without being too busy) and they paint up very nicely. And the designs have something distinct that has always caught our eye. A bit of classic nostalgia with a twist of something dark and a dash of whimsy so their take on all the classic monsters still adds something distinct to the mix.

Scaling is generally aligned with the rest of our artists and we add the new items each month quite quickly after release.

And being one of our newest artists, we are working to catch-up on the backlog of their extensive library over time so look for us to add their backlog over the coming months.

We knew from the beginning that there was something special with their designs so we are happy to be able to come back to our origins and support their work. So please check them out and be on the look-out for their full library to be added hopefully soon once we complete our investment in their artwork.

Happy gaming and painting!
