The sculpt captures the wolf mid-prowl — weight shifted forward, hackles raised into jagged spines along the scruff, muzzle slightly parted to reveal teeth. The fur detail is rendered with real depth across the chest and shoulders, contrasting with the smooth, tensed muscle of the haunches. Clawed feet grip the base as though reading the ground beneath them.

In D&D 5e terms, wolves are reliable predators — pack tactics, knockdown potential, and just enough threat to make low-level adventurers reconsider a shortcut through the woods. But this sculpt has a slightly monstrous edge to it; those spiked hackles and the intensity of the pose make it equally at home representing a Dire Wolf, a Worg, or something worse that's merely wearing the shape of a wolf for now.

A solid choice for adventurers who:

Need a convincing predator for wilderness or forest encounters

Run packs of wolves as environmental hazards or encounter escalators

Want a second pose to vary their wolf pack on the table

Are building a display piece or diorama featuring woodland creatures

Want a versatile sculpt that can serve as wolf, Dire Wolf, or Worg depending on paint scheme

Encounter Hook:
The ranger's snare line has been tripped — not sprung, just tripped.
