One hand grips the hoop overhead whilst her legs scissor wide, her torso bent in a deep backbend that speaks to years of brutal discipline. She wears a ruffled performance costume — a decorative bodice with chain-link trim, layered frilled shorts, and tightly wrapped leg bindings — every detail crafted with the kind of specificity that rewards a careful painter. The rope suspending the hoop is sculpted in full, coiling to a neat knot at the top, and the whole composition sits on a smooth integrated display base via a discreet pole mount.

The pose is arrestingly dynamic without sacrificing stability — this is a miniature that holds the eye from across the table. Whether you paint her in rich circus jewel-tones, muted travelling-troupe canvas, or the dusky glamour of a Ravenloft carnival, she carries the scene with her.

As a character, she slots naturally into any campaign that passes through a city, a pleasure quarter, or a shadowy big-top. She works equally well as a wandering entertainer NPC, a rogue or monk player character in disguise, or a Fey-touched performer whose act conceals something far more dangerous than flexibility.

✔ Circus performers, carnival barkers, and travelling troupes

✔ Urban tavern scenes and festival encounters

✔ Rogue, Monk, or Bard player characters with a performance background

✔ Ravenloft carnival campaigns — a natural fit for a Carnival of Lost Souls

✔ Display painters looking for a characterful, technically demanding centrepiece

Encounter Hook

The party arrives in Whithollow during the three-day Harvest Faire. Amid jugglers and fire-eaters, the ring aerialist's act draws the largest crowd — but one of the party's players spots that her eyes, fixed on a figure in the crowd, carry something closer to fury than showmanship. Is she a plant, a spy, a shapeshifter waiting for the right moment? The rope holding her hoop is the only thing between her and the nobleman she's been tracking for six months.

Details

Multipart miniature with decorative integrated base.
