Her posture is commanding — one arm raised, fingers curled in what might be a gesture of arcane power or a signal to unseen forces — while her other hand drags a massive maul wreathed in spectral flame low at her side, the weapon's weight meaningless to one who no longer tires. She wears layered armour fitted with a skull medallion at the belt, and her face beneath the swept helm bears the unmistakable pallor and sunken features of undeath. Bandage wrappings wind about her lower legs and bare feet, a detail that speaks to the manner of her death — a queen stripped of dignity, returned to reclaim it with interest.

The sculpt rewards painters working in contrast techniques, washes, or careful edge highlighting. The flaming maul head offers a natural focal point for Object Source Lighting practice, and the layered cloth and armour surfaces give plenty of texture variation to work across. Whether you want to push this piece as a centrepiece villain or keep her understated and menacing on the table, the detail density is there to support either approach.

She works equally well as a high-level undead antagonist and as a striking display piece for painters who want something with a clear narrative charge. The combination of martial power and arcane presence makes her versatile across a wide range of undead encounters — from the ruins of a fallen kingdom to the cold courts of the Shadowfell.

Adventurers who will love this miniature:

Dungeon Masters building undead noble courts or revenge-driven BBEG encounters

Players running an undead paladin, warlock, or necromancer with a regal edge

Painters drawn to OSL challenges and high-contrast undead colour schemes

Collectors who want a villain-weight display piece with strong silhouette and presence

Encounter Hook: The party receives a royal summons — not from any living court, but from the palace of a queen murdered three centuries ago. When they arrive, they find her seated on a frost-rimed throne, her maul resting across her knees, and a very specific list of names she intends to see erased from history.
