illiquid-clairvoyant-chishinix-by-monster-atlas
Illiquid Clairvoyant (Chishinix) by Monster Atlas

Something ancient stirs in the deep places of the world — a clairvoyant of the Elder Brain's innermost circle, cradling the remnants of a devoured mind as though it were a holy relic.

✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK

✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime

✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Chishinix the Illiquid Clairvoyant is no ordinary thrall-keeper. Robed in layered ceremonial vestments trimmed with geometric armoured panels, this commanding figure carries the unmistakable bearing of an illithid priest — or something that has consumed enough minds to become one. Swept-back horn-like protrusions frame the characteristic cephalopod face, tentacles curling with quiet menace, while taloned hands clutch a skull-faced, tentacle-wreathed orb with reverence. A skull motif is pressed into the front of the robe like a devotional seal, a reminder that every thought Chishinix touches becomes property of the collective.

The sculpt is rich with surface detail — the quilted and segmented lower robes, the articulated shoulder armour, the sinuous curl of every tentacle both facial and held — making this a rewarding piece for painters who enjoy layering wet blends across organic and hard-surface textures in the same model. Whether you build up a sickly purple-grey flesh against deep violet robes, or go for a bleached and alien bone palette, Chishinix rewards time at the brush.

This miniature is equally suited to tabletop play and display collecting. On the gaming table, Chishinix commands instant attention as a spellcasting elite, a cult leader, or the voice of a distant Elder Brain. On the shelf, the silhouette — robes sweeping out to one side, orb clutched close — reads with the imposing gravity of a character who has already won every encounter before it begins.

Two base options are available: a plain round base for immediate tabletop use, or no base if you prefer to mount Chishinix to your own scenic base or diorama setting.

Dungeon Masters running an illithid colony arc or mind flayer cult

Adventurers building a Underdark-themed display or diorama

Painters who enjoy detailed organic sculpts with strong silhouettes

Players building a Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard with a deeply unsettling flavour

Encounter Hook: The party has tracked the missing villagers to a flooded crypt beneath the old abbey.
