Her long braided hair is bound with a beaded headband, her shoulders draped in a sweeping cloak that frames an arm etched with flowing knotwork. She does not wear heavy plate — she does not need to. Layered cloth armour, wrapped greaves, and leather sandals mark her as someone who moves fast and hits hard. The beast-headed mace she grips is the centrepiece of the sculpt: a heavy, ornate weapon that speaks to a fighter who has both taste and teeth.

This is a character who rewards careful painting. The knotwork on her bracer, the texture of her layered skirt, the carved face on the mace head — each detail repays time at the brush. She reads equally well as a veteran mercenary, a tribal champion, or a noble-born fighter who left the court far behind. In a Norse or Arthurian setting she slots in immediately; in a more grounded campaign she brings exactly the kind of grounded intensity that makes a party feel real.

Despina is a multipart miniature, giving you the option to pose and assemble her to your preference before priming.

A Fighter or Barbarian player character who wants a sculpt with genuine presence and readable silhouette

A DM looking for a recurring NPC — a warlord, a hired blade, or a rival with history

A painter drawn to braided hair, knotwork detail, and a weapon with real character

Adventurers building a Norse or Arthurian warband and needing a standout human warrior

Encounter Hook: The party arrives in a highland village to find a woman standing alone in the square, mace resting on her shoulder, a half-dozen unconscious men around her feet.
