This is a figure built entirely from menace — an enormous, bare-chested brute wearing a horned skull-mask that conceals whatever expression lies beneath it, and you can be grateful it does. Ritual scarring covers his muscular torso, heavy chains hang at his neck, and his lower body is wrapped in ragged, rope-bound cloth that falls in shredded strips — the mark of someone who has long since stopped caring about appearances. What matters is the weapon: an oversized poleaxe with a broad, battered blade on one end and a hook on the other, held low and ready in both hands. This is not a weapon for duelling. It is a weapon for ending things.

Sculpted by Epic Miniatures, this figure sits on a large 51mm base and carries the presence to match. Every detail rewards close inspection — the carved runes or symbols on the mask, the coiled rope belt, the worn texture of the cloth, the sheer physical weight of the sculpt. Whether you paint him in the ashen grey of an undead thrall, the ruddy bronze of a pit-fighter champion, or the bone-white of a zealot servant of death, the figure holds its own at every scale of ambition. Multipart construction gives painters and hobbyists the space to get every surface right before assembly.

This is the miniature you reach for when the party needs to understand, viscerally, that they are not safe.

Suited to adventurers who:

Need a commanding BBEG or lieutenant for a dungeon, gladiatorial arena, or death-cult encounter

Want a large-scale centrepiece that doubles as a display piece between sessions

Are running campaigns with themes of imprisonment, judgement, or ritual punishment

Enjoy painting muscular humanoids with expressive cloth, leather, and metalwork

Encounter Hook

The party descends into the lower vaults of the Bloodstone Fortress, following the screams they had been told to ignore. At the end of a long, torch-lit corridor stands a figure so large he has to angle the axe sideways to fit through the archway. He does not speak. He simply turns, mask fixed on the party, and begins to walk towards them — unhurried, deliberate, certain. Behind him, the door to the cells has been left open. Whatever was inside is no longer there.

Details

32mm scale miniature on a large 51mm base

Multipart construction — supplied unpainted

Plain base variant also available

Sculpted by Epic Miniatures

Sculpted by Epic Miniatures — visit their page to explore more of their work.

Pairs well with BBEG encounters and Ravenloft gothic horror campaigns — or explore more from Epic Miniatures.

Mitz & Simz — the cats failed Dexterity but maxed Charisma and honestly it shows.

Ready to add this adventurer to your collection?
