Studded shackles ring both ankles, and the creature's thick torso is fitted with a heavy collar bristling with bolts and a broad restraining harness. The face is broad and impassive, with stitched brow lines that speak to crude surgical intervention. This is not a creature born of nature — it is a creature made, and whoever made it has long since lost control.

The sculpt rewards ambitious painters. The contrast between organic flesh — with its suggestion of bulk and raw power — and the precisely detailed mechanical arm creates a natural focal point, and the studded leather ankle shackles add texture variety for those who enjoy blending washes and drybrushing. Whether you're going for a traditional green-grey flesh tone or something altogether more gothic, Experiment Omega makes a commanding centrepiece on either the gaming table or the display shelf.

This is a multipart miniature and is supplied on a plain round base.

Adventurers who need a memorable BBEG or laboratory guardian for their steampunk or gothic horror arc

Dungeon Masters running Ravenloft or artificer-heavy campaigns seeking a creature that stops the table cold

Painters who enjoy tackling the challenge of blending organic and mechanical textures on a single sculpt

Collectors drawn to large, characterful monsters with a strong sense of tragic backstory

Encounter Hook

The party has tracked the rogue artificer to the lowest sublevel of the Clockwork Warrens. The door ahead is sealed not with a lock, but with chains from the inside — and something behind it is breathing. When it bursts free, Experiment Omega doesn't roar. It simply raises its fists and waits, as though it has been waiting a very long time for someone worth fighting.

Details

Scale: 32mm (large base, 51mm).
