This miniature captures him mid-brawl — one fist cocked back, massive braided beard streaming behind him, his stocky frame coiled with the kind of muscle that comes from decades of hauling rope and surviving things that shouldn't be survivable. He's mounted atop a ship's anchor wreathed in heavy rope, which forms a sculpted scenic base that brings the dockside chaos of the Shadow Over Westlook setting to life beneath his boots.

The detail across the sculpt rewards close attention. His layered leather armour is worn and practical, his wrap-bound belt carries the wheel-boss buckle of a seasoned mariner, and the thick rope twisting around his raised arm and across the base tells a story of a sailor who fights as dirty as he works. Every element — from the braided beard to the knotted coils — gives painters something specific to sink their brushes into.

From DM Stash's Shadow Over Westlook collection, Eghard works brilliantly as a harbourmaster enforcer, a dwarven pirate first mate, a gruff sailor NPC with a history that the party is better off not asking about, or a fighter or barbarian player character who took the Sailor background and has the knuckles to prove it.

Suits adventurers who want:

A dwarf miniature with genuine maritime character and a dynamic fighting pose

An NPC that can anchor (appropriately enough) a dockside or pirate encounter

A fighter or barbarian PC mini with sea-worn personality baked into the sculpt

A display piece that rewards detailed painting across rope, leather, and braided hair

Encounter Hook: The party arrives at Westlook's notorious Anchor Ward docks, seeking passage aboard a vessel willing to sail into cursed waters.
