Masses of it, pitted and puckered with decay, layered in slabs across a giant's frame. The Corpse Golem Roar sculpt from Epic Miniatures captures the creature mid-bellow: arms flung wide and overhead, clawed extremities splayed, and that enormous maw stretched open in a roar that communicates nothing so much as the absolute absence of mercy. Every surface is textured with the horrible specificity of assembled cadaverous matter — sunken cavities, swollen knobs of fused bone beneath skin, ragged edges where mismatched parts were joined by no gentle hand.

On the tabletop, this miniature lands with genuine presence. Mounted on a huge 76.5mm base, it physically dominates the encounter space the way a CR 10 construct should — towering over the party, arms raised as if ready to bring them down on whoever dares stand close enough to count teeth. That open-mouthed roar pose makes it legible from across the table; even players at the far end of the mat will know something terrible is happening. As a display piece, it rewards patient painters: the layered texture is a gift for washes and drybrushing, and the scale gives room to develop real depth in the tonal variation between exposed tissue, fused skin, and dark, hollow pits.

This sculpt is multipart, giving you clean assembly and crisp detail at this imposing scale.

Adventurers running undead-heavy campaigns with constructs as the necromancer's enforcers

Dungeon Masters who want a visually distinct BBEG encounter piece that reads as a threat from ten feet away

Painters who enjoy layered organic textures — wet blending on corrupted flesh, OSL from inside that open maw

Collectors building out horror-themed display vignettes with genuine visual impact

Encounter Hook

The party reaches the inner sanctum of the Obsidian Crypt just as the necromancer finishes the final ritual syllable. From a trough of brackish fluid, something assembled from thirty different corpses pulls itself upright, throws its arms wide, and releases a sound that rattles every tooth in every skull — living and dead alike. The necromancer simply watches. She's never seen it roar before.
