The figure stands upright in plated armour and a split travel coat, its posture almost composed, almost soldierly. But where arms should be, two enormous segmented limbs erupt from beneath a heavy fur-edged mantle, all overlapping chitin plates and curving claws. The beak-visored helm adds to the wrongness of it — there is still a warrior in there, somewhere beneath the blight.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe sculpt rewards a painter with tremendous surface variety: the hard geometry of the plate armour, the layered softness of the fur and cloth, and the organic repetition of the segmented chitinous limbs all sit in deliberate contrast.
